THE HOLIDAY I CHOSE WAS PRESIDENTS’ DAY. IT IS CELEBRATED ON THE  THIRD MONDAY OF FEBRUARY.

ITS CEBRATED IN THE USA. IT IS IN HONOR OF  GEORGE WASHINGTON AND ABRAHAM LINCOLN.ON STREETS PEOPLE MAKE BIG PARADES.

it is the only federal holiday in the country. it has a very important and historical matter. on this day, george washington was born. millions of workers and students from all over the country have the day off.

activities such as recreations, concerts and various parties happen in the country. such as a wreath ceremony and reading the gettysburg speech. this happen at the lincoln memorial in washington dc.

i chose this celebration because it was named to honour the president. i wanted to know more about the monument of the presidents. also i wanted to know how they celebrated it.
